Our story
Stretch&Folds was born out of a love of good food, good people, and the belief that what you put on your table matters.
We're a small, family-owned bakery rooted in Georgian Bay, where the seasons are distinct, the community is tight-knit, and food brings everyone together. For us, baking isn't just a business. It's an extension of the way we've always lived. Curious, intentional, and never too far from the kitchen.
Movement and wellness have long been part of our story as well. With a background in dance and teaching, we've always understood the relationship between how we move and how we nourish ourselves. That philosophy carries straight into our baking — slow fermentation, quality local ingredients, and breads made with real care for how they make you feel.
That said, we firmly believe life is too short to skip the good stuff! A thick slice of sourdough, generously buttered, is always a good idea. Balance, after all, is its own kind of wellness.
